A doctor commissioned me to create a niche 3D print where the medicine needed to be inhaled through the nose rather than the mouth. I told him that I could create an adaptor that allowed the inhaler to be inserted into the 3D print, and the nose bulb can be used to be aimed directly through the nose. Hence, making a nasal adaptor for the inhaler.
I created a personalized apple watch stand, because everything in this room was oak-colored, I wanted to match with a beige watch stand rather than a walnut one, which the store sells at $120, I think that's a little too high in my opinion, but not to worry, I can 3D model things like this easily.
With just a picture and some dimensions, some parts that are a little more "2D" in nature can be replicated into a 3D piece. Now, 3D printers can be used as "fax machines", where I can handle the 3D modelling of an object, and send over an STL file such that the recipient can print it on their end.
When my friend told me that she wanted to create a personalized gift for a celebrity (Zoe Tay), I knew that I had to mix in some peranakan elements with some 3D dogs (which she has an instagram account for), Little plastic dogs sitting on her peranakan house, and I added a little "ZT" as a little nod to her initials.
Originally, i wanted an Ikea step stool miniature to hold my phone. I thought it would have been a great idea to have it as one piece. After realising that it was more sturdy when created as one piece, and it would have been a more fun "DIY" project, similar to Ikea, I recreated it as an assembly piece.
Ever since I realised you could take logos and turn them into 3D, I realised that I could create fridge magnets, marketing merchandise for small businesses, corporate gifts, etc. Small businesses wouldn't want to spend on large MOQ's for injection moulded parts anyway, hence, it makes a lot of sense for 3D printing to be the use case in this scenario.
A friend of mine placed first in the HYROX, competition for 29th November 2025 and 30th November 2025, however, because there isn't any merch for HYROX (customs, at least), he wanted me to recreate something for him and the whole team.
